Which version?
The froo-froo Centennial "hammerless" or the pimped out Chief's Special?
Might have to get one of if it's the froo-froo type. Would still prefer a "K-327" in stainless...

At $899? And with that bizarre vent in front of the sight blade? And with that black finish on stainless? Why couldn't they just make a run of plain old stainless steel 631 revolvers, and since they've cheaped down all their revolvers with MIM and IL and other features to make us like them less, I don't pretend to understand, along with why do they have to charge so much? My older Smiths keep looking better and better! JMHO, YMMV.

It's "Franch". "Tarted up, fancifated, blingish"
Also, more properly(?) spelt "Froufrou".

I might be interested if it didn't have that preposterous vent in the barrel. I rather like the black finish on stainless. I never could stand the look of an "in the white" unfinished gun.

Seems like a good deal for those who are required to keep theirs completely concealed. I don't so how 'bout a 4" K-frame? $900 would be cheap compared to having a 16 converted.

The vent in front is the reason I have not bought one. I converted my 16-4's to 327 magnum and they are a hoot!! The cost was minimal, a forum member has the 327 reamer and let me borrow it.

I have two----Don't ask how that happened.
It is not an appealing shooter in the little frame---good pocket gun---just a mean little range gun for my large hands.
The M16 is just the size frame it begs for--I have one punched to take the .327 case.
I wish they would make it in a 3 or 4 " barrel, less the vent and in the M16 size.
Blessings
