can anyone please verify if this model 60-2 was a NYPD issued weapon ? as you can see from the photos I posted and from what I can find ( very little) I am NOT 100% sure.......someone please help !!!

thanks I did see that some were counterfeit NY-1's.....I just wanted to make sure........thanks so much........I paid 190.00 for the gun from Fin Feather Fur gun shop here in NE Ohio

They have anymore of them?
I may be mistaken, but my recollection is that they were never issued, so detectives never carried them. S&W just made too many mistakes in the process of getting them accepted by the NYPD, and in the end, they weren't. S&W ended up selling them off.
