I found this Model 31-1 .32 Regulation Police at a SouCal gunshow not long ago. It came with the original box and papers. There are no special labels on the box but the gun bears the WISCHO European importer stamp on the bottom of the barrel above the extractor rod along with Liege, Belgium proof & inspection marks and a date code. See photo below. The Liege proof mark (a cursive L in a flaming bomb) is also on the rear of the cylinder and bottom of the frame just forward of the trigger guard. There have been other WISCHO marked S&W's reported on this site, some with Belgian and some with German proof marks that made their way back to the US. The gun came with Magnas, I added the Target Stocks.
One observation I have made is that a square butt J frame with a 3" barrel has a very different feel in the hand than a round butt with 1 7/8" barrel. I am looking forward to shooting this one.
