Help S & W Model 525?

There is no model 525. It's probably a gun that's older than 1957 before model numbers existed and they are just finding assembly numbers where the models number typically is. If that's the correct serial number, it dates back to the 19-teens.

That Smith is old. You should post in that part of the forum that focuses on the teens and twenties. They'd know.
