Does anybody have J-frame Pachmayr Renegade Grips?

I'm looking to get Pachmayr Renegade smooth grips for my M640 .357. In the past when I've had wood grips on revolvers I lightly sanded the finger grooves to better fit my hand. What I don't know is can I sand this Rosewood polymer grip the same as I would a normal wood grip. Thanks

I've got a set of Renegade grips and you can sand them. They are not polymer. They are laminated rosewood. I don't know what kind of finish they have on them from the factory but I take steel wool, rub them down good and apply some tung oil.

MY Renegade grips came today

I see what you mean about the factory finish on the Rosewood lament. I wiped them with Rem Oil and that worked pretty good till I figure out what I want to do with them more permanently.

Renegade

I have a set on my S&W 60 Pro 357. Fit like a glove. No sanding needed. But, I'll be getting the textured grips for a more stable feel.
