I have not been on the forum much since I had to take almost a year off due to broken wrist and started shooting my semi autos more but I am getting back into my 629 and was looking for tamer x frame grips. In searching it seems as if they are just as elusive as they used to be. I ordered some from smith but they said allow 6-8 weeks delivery. This still has not changed with smith parts from a few years ago when they were saying that the orders took so long to process because they were upgrading their ordering system. I actually purchased a rear sight from them for another gun and it arrived about 10 months later, long after I sold the gun. Any suggestions?
