I know these aren't going to fool anyone, but for $38 a pair they look nice and feel good with the t-grip. No worries about damaging them, oils, etc.

Magna's and a t-grip is still my preferred set up for square frame S&W's.

It is amazing how much a good phone camera brings out that oily thumbprint you didn't see when you took the picture... ;)

I like them. I think the bonded ivory looks great, and it's definitely more practical for everyday use.

I like a lot of Altamont's stuff. I bought a set of J frame combats and they fit well and feel great in my hand. Didn't cost an arm and a leg either.

Gunnrovers,

Nice looking guns. Who made your plug and how do you like it? I may have to try some of those grips as they look great and will probably survive EDC.

I have mostly Rosewood Altamont’s but I do have one set of bonded ivory, I had them on my Nickel 3” M13-3 then decided to swap them out for a set of Rosewood, they are sitting in my stock drawer now.

These, on my Model 29, are by Ajax. They called it poly-ivory.
The IWB is called ITP (in the pants), from OTP (Old Trading Post)

Any way to speed up the process?

Don't want to appear impatient ( yes , I'm old ) but do you know of any to speed up the "aging" process on those simulated ivory grips?
Thanks
Dante

Hello everyone I just picked up a set of bonded ivory from eagle one on my 27-5 And the bottom 19-3. I just love them.[emoji10][emoji10]

You can soak them in tea or coffee for a darker color, it just yellows them faster.
