Does anyone have information available as to the quantity of the Gart Sport limited run of the model 629-4 Alaskan Back Packer that came out in 1998? It has the magna-ported 3" barrel, non fluted cylinder with full bear on side plate? No tracks on cylinder. The barrel is marked: Alaskan Back Packer. The product code is 103611 with a serial # prefix of RMA. I contacted Smith customer service however they were not able to provide anything . I know there have been several limited runs over the years by exclusive distributors and am curious what the production numbers were for the above model. Thank you for any input.
