I'm looking but so far have not seen a 7-shot speed-loader for my 686+. Anyone know if it's offered (I'd have thought it is, but surprised i'm not finding it). If you have maybe a part or model number maybe that will make my search bring one up quicker.

Thanks!

Thanks to all for the responses. I have one HKS for the 686+, just thought maybe I'd try the Safariland after so many positive comments on it. Alas, there is no such thing, so HKS it is!

As far as I know safariland only makes six round loaders for the L frame. HKS is your best bet for a seven round.

They even stopped making them for the model 28 and 27. Finding used ones is like looking for hens teeth.

FYI... I just saw HKS speed-loaders for the model 27 on the bay. They look to be plentiful.

SpeedBeez.com makes them.hth

Thanks Vinny, I've been seeing those online but never used them. How are they? How's the long-term durability?

Easy to use and durable too. Simple spring-loaded design. Although, I also use Safariland Comp IIIs in my 686 SSR and like them very much. These are a must when doing "Wilson 5x5" drills with a revolver. hth
