.30 Super Carry pressure is 50,000 psi. I think the J-Frame is too small. Maybe a L-Frame 6 shooter.. Fed .38 HST Micro for carry probably the best but hard to reload with that blunt bullet.
Let's be real, Ruger is far more likely to put out a LCR and/or SP101 in 30SC than S&W. Charter Arms right behind them with a seven shot Carrydog or some such name.
And to echo the above, 30SC is a neat idea that came out about 15 years too late. We're drowning in great, reliable 9mm and .380 double stack pocket guns in 2022.
Something new is not always something useful.

Smith & Wesson tried 30 carbine in an N frame during or around war II, I guess it worked but the consensus was it was too darn loud. Severe muzzle blast, recoil was about the same as .45 ACP and average velocity from a 5 inch bbl 1277 fps. ( @ Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson )

I'm thinking if S&W would make the 30 super carry in a J frame it would use moon clips & hopefully have 6 rounds and similar ballistics to 9mm. Would anyone else be interested?
