I recently picked up a very nice 649-2 that has some Lg Hogue Monogrips on it that are too big and ugly. I put the grips from my wife's 60-14 Lady Smith on it for now. I am looking for a nice looking set of carry grips, probably with monograms, stag, wood mammoth Ivory or something nice. Suggestions!

...have the exact same gun...

Ended up with a smooth set of S&W laminated stocks with a polished Tyler T-grip...

Picture below are what came on it...they are comfortable to shoot but don't quite fit in the carry bag it usually rides in..

Best Snubbie S&W ever made...Bob

Never go wrong with Craig Spegel boot grips.

If you like the Spegel Boot Grips but can't quite afford the real thing, keep an eye on Ebay for the discontinued Uncle Mikes rubber copy. I know some purist hate the idea of putting "Goodyears" on classic guns but I look at the 649's as working guns and practicality trumps looks. I found a pair of the UM Boot Grips on Ebay in excellent shape for a fair price for my newly acquired M649-1. I also acquired a pair of Uncle Mike's copy of the Spegel Combats from the marketplace here and I'm still experimenting to figure out which I prefer.

hello,
I have a pair of these grips that were made by company EFF, I don't think they are in business anymore. My grips are black aluminum and used but I loved them on a 642 I carried for several years. These grips reduce the grip profile substantially and I loved them.
LMK if interested and we can take this off board and PM each other
