I think the estimate of $900 is about right given that it has Hogue's instead of combats. The early -1s came with combats and those add/detract perhaps $300 to the value. I bought this six inch about four years ago for $900 with the combats and a box (as one of our members here likes to say, A box, not THE box). The "old guy," not much older than me of course, insisted he bought it new and that it was factory "bright stainless." I don't think there are any factory "bright stainless" ones but I bought it anyway. Enjoy yours, great .22 revolvers.
