44 special is my favorite revolver caliber. I have had a 3 inch and 6 1/2 inch 624 no – for a number of years. I just picked up a 4 inch to complete the collection. It is just as accurate as my 6 inch up to 25 yards.

Plink, do you have a holster for that 3" ? I will soon be in the market for a 3" N frame OWB holster. I'm wondering what others are using.

Nice heat!
I am not new to the 44 special, but new to 44 spl specific guns. I always thought it made more sense to have 44 mags that can handle both - same argument for the 38/357 mag. However, I found a cheap 3" 24-3 last year, followed by two 696 no dashes. Since my 44 mags see 4 spls 90% of the time, I thought why not. I am now smitten with the 44 spl and the guns that launch them.

* No Charter Arms :D

I love the .44 Special and currently own 9 of them. :D
I consider myself fortunate to own all three barrel lengths of the Model 24-3. Wonderful guns! :D

Here they are with a few friends. ;)

Honestly were can I get a 44 special like that??? I have 4 N frames the 2 in .357 just dont do it 4 me....but 44 special....really just the bomb!! I own a 629 classic and just shoot specials in it anyway , I have a 24-3 , but again both 44s are 6" barrels...so a 3" in 44 special I think would be perfect. Kinda like a Ruger single six in 32 H&R mag....PERFECT!!
