Just missed the S&W wheel gun rebate…
I see that S&W is now offering a rebate on their revolvers. Good on new purchases 2/1 - 4/1. Of course, I bought a new 642 on 1/16, obviously w/ no knowledge of the upcoming promo. Just curious, if I inquired w/ S&W, would they show any sympathy, or just tell me to pound sand? Not gonna ruin my life one way or the other, but a $50 card in the mail wouldn’t upset me. Just wondering if I’m wasting my time before barking up that tree. Thanks!

You can certainly inquire about it, but I'd be surprised if they did it. Manufacturer's offer rebates to encourage new sales, not to reward prior ones, and every one I've ever seen has had some form of "not valid on previous purchases" clause in the program's fine print. There's a first time for everything, though. So by all means let us know how it goes.

From S&W website - the initial order must also occur between February 1, 2024 and April 30, 2024 to be eligible for this Promotion.

Most here would likely prefer a rebate on a used Smith.

I purchased a M 48 last week, and found out about the rebate after the fact. Sent all the info in and was notified today that it had been approved.

My 4X a day emails from Palmetto State have the 6 shot 6" Model 686 for $625 after the rebate. If'n I wanted one I'd get it. Joe
