Some of you know that I have came up with some pretty odd Smith & Wesson over the years and here is another!
This one has me stumped for information.
I do not have the box So I do not have the production code other than what I believe it to be.
104098FC is the only one that I could come up with and the only information that I have been able to find on this particular gun,
So any help from the Smith & Wesson Gods would be appreciated.
Tom

I have one. Here's a grainy screenshot of the model.

Here is the label from my 686-5+ 5”. Under the store sticker, 5”, S, SB(though a round butt), HI VIZ FS.

I had bought this revolver when I turned 21 and I still own it.

Thank you Joe,
I would really like to know what the production numbers are. I'm probably going to send into the historical society and request a letter to see if it unveils anything but it is certainly a unique and nice revolver

No problem. Here’s a picture of the revolver. I don’t know how many were product. At the time, I didn’t know what I was buying. But I knew I wanted it because it was a seven shot.

My grandpa had a seven shot revolver when I was a kid and he told me that was what the guys back in the old West called the “Devil’s round”because nobody knew it was there and it sent them straight straight to hell
But hey, that was just grandpa😎

This is a cool 5”! I dislike the front sight and prefer the Baughman myself….I have fiber optics on another of my handguns and no good for me…the fact still remains, this is a very-very cool revolver and thank you for showing it!
