Palmetto State Armory sent out an email today for a mode 629 $749 and you get the rebate on top of that. That’d be the lowest price I’ve ever seen for a new N frame revolver in the 13 years I’ve been shooting. I have no interest in a 629 but am still thinking about buying one.

Me too! It's been awhile when you could buy a S&W 44 for less than $700.

Thanks for the info. Hadn't seen this. I bought a new J frame last year and it took a few weeks to get the rebate back. All in all, I was happy with the transaction. Not too cumbersome of a process at all.

I just don't have anything new that's on my radar...

...but that could easily change...

Just got the Mod 29 6.5 bbl , didnt think it came with wooden case, but it did and also cleaning kit and screwdriver. cleaned it up going to the range tomorrow along with my 629 3in. Curious to see what vel my reloads are. Got a Garmin chrono love that thing it is so simple to use.

That seems like a killer deal to me!

Reading the fine print on the rebate form, "For the avoidance of doubt, online invoices, shipping documents, shipping packing slips, and other such similar documents are not valid Dated Sales Receipts (as defined hereafter) for purposes of this Promotion." I'm wondering if PSA will provide an acceptable receipt?

That makes zero sense. Not what you wrote, but what S&W is saying. Why wouldn't they consider an online invoice as a receipt? There's going to be a lot of pissed off buyers.

Has anyone successfully submitted a rebate with a PSA receipt yet?

I did. I was declined the first time because "the name of the merchant wasn't on the receipt". I emailed them and told them that the name WAS on the receipt. They approved the rebate and I received my debit card as a rebate. I wish they used checks instead of cards that some merchants wouldn't take, but at least I got the rebate and was able to use it over time.

I purchased one of the 686-6, 5" from PSA. Submitted on-line for the rebate on 11-7 and received the $100 debit card 11-25. I used the packing slip with no issues.

I recently bought a new S&W 460XVR off of Gunbroker. I was sent no physical receipt. I contacted the rebate center and they said to print the invoice from the Gunbroker screen and send them that image along with the UPC label on the box. They won’t accept a screen shot, you just have to print the invoice and take a pic of that. Hope this helps.

I received my digital rebate Master Card maybe 9-10 days later for $150.

That's a great price. I got my 629 4" Mountain Gun for $666 but that was in 2005. I would jump on that.

I bought a 617. I did not own a quality 22LR revolver.
The $100 rebate tripped the trigger for me.

I applied for the physical plastic card.
I had a 'digital' rebate once from another brand that was such a pain to use that I ended up just letting it expire.

Hopefully, the piece of plastic will work better.

Glad to hear that you guys were successful on your PSA/S&W rebates. Now to pull the trigger on the deal :)
Thanks!

Just an FYI, PSA currently has the 4 inch 627 pro for 799, and the 629 is out of stock.

Rejected

I bought a 986PC and sent my receipt and end label pics vis their online portal.

Got notified late Friday night that my receipt was no good as per the poster above, they said it didn't have the store name on it (it did) and I had 7 days to send in a proper one by mail.

Found a section on the website that says you can resubmit online, got another receipt from the store and sent that in- waiting to see what they do next.

Edit to add:

Original application 12/21/24,

corrected with new receipt photo on 12/26/24

Received rebate in today's (1/6/25) mail
