Anyone have a 432?

Post 1,
Consider doing a search using the full model name, "432UC", and there should be several threads from which to browse/read.

Other similar model numbers would be: 632UC, 642UC, and 442UC.

I have one and love it. Have not had any problems. Ammo is difficult to find locally, but I reload for target/practise.

Reactions: L-2
As L-2 stated above, there have been several posts, pro and con on this little gun. One is all about the development of it which is a very interesting read. i have one and really like it. I have only put a couple of hundred rounds through it so far but it shoots well. I use the Lost River 100gr Poli Coat full wadcutter, 850 FPS. IMHO, it's the best thought out and developed snub J frame out.

I finally got around to shooting my new 432UC this morning. I only had a couple boxes of Hornady Critical Defense, but it went through them with zero problems. My gun shot just a tad to the left so I had to drift the rear sight a small amount. So far, I'm thrilled with it.

I already had a 432PD, but love the sights on the UC.

I have one ordered since I'm a big fan of the .32 H&R cartridge.

I reload .32 since I already have a Ruger Single Six .32 and a LCR snub as well.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I receive a good trouble free revolver.

I have both the 432UC and the 632UC. The 432UC went back for an undersized frame lug, and since the lug is now integral to the frame, I got a new frame and my old internals. S&W covered the transfer costs. After a few weeks of sitting in my safe, the 632's front sight turned amber/orange. I'm guessing it was defective & the tritium juice leaked out. I called S&W and a replacement sight is enroute. I love both revolvers, but lean towards the black(432) a tad more. JMHO & YMMV

Awaiting delivery

Just put my money down on one Saturday. Should be in today or tomorrow (can't wait!). Bought a 442PS last month to replace my (042 - 1992) Which I sold and totally regret.

As a Senior Citizen with Arthritis I manage the .38 Special well now. But I thought about having a .32 for in the future. (or that S&W 43C in .22 LR)

At $759 for a new one I am keeping my eye open for a Certified Pre Owned or a used S&W or Colt Detective Special (my first pick)

Looking forward to your Range Report.

S&W has a $50 rebate through the end of the year on J Frames. If I can find a new one locally for under $700 that I can carefully inspect before buying, I might buy it.

Yes, I own a 432UC but have never shot it. Why not, you ask? Because the Smith and Wesson QC department is staffed by a lunch of idiots, and shipped me a gun that had rust on it and numerous scratches. I sent it back to S&W three weeks ago and was told I'll be waiting 6-8 weeks.

I don't think the Ultimate Carry line of J frames qualifies for the rebate.

Last time around I submitted two rebate requests, one for my 442 UC and one for my 43C. Yes to the 43C, no to the 442UC.

Current promotion says 1 rebate per SKU. Call them back and show them their own documentation.
