Hi folks,I have been looking and have gotten very confused lol.i am looking for a good iwb holster for my 66-8 with 2.75 barrel that i can carry in the summer, say if I decide to have on shorts and t shirts.i normally carry my 605 for this but wanted to start carrying this more.i like the factory grips but are there better grips that don't print quite as bad and still have good grip?thanks!

Are you looking for kydex or leather? Like many folks here on the Forum, I prefer kydex for pistols and leather for revolvers. I recently bought an OWB 1791 Gun Leather holster for my 3" 686-6+, and I'm very happy with it. Other Forum members have endorsed Craft IWB holsters. If you want a hybrid, Crossbreed makes some very nice leather/kydex IWB holsters.

Like you, down here in Florida I mostly wear shorts and T-shirts or polo shirts. That almost drives me to EDC a PC M&P9 Shield Plus or a 642-2 in a pocket holster. Larger frame revolvers (K-, L-, or N-frame) are difficult to carry IWB, so in cooler weather I carry OWB with a large cover shirt or jacket.

Thanks for the info man!I am the same, kydex for my shield plus and leather for the wheel guns.I will definitely check those out.I have an azula leather
For the 66 and 605 snub. They are not bad for the money .I do want to try a new one for the 66 though!I may rotate the shield and 605 for the summer.I looked at the 627 8 shot but that would be even harder to carry in the summerI wish smith made a j frame the size of a taurus 617 that had 7 shots!

Btw,the kydex I use for the shield is a vedder light tuck IWB and is really slick.it is tuckable and has up and down and cant adjustments as well as tension

I use this holster for my 3" and 4" K frames (I have one for each barrel length). IMHO it works really well. It's a very well-run, honest business.

I haven't tried any of the JM Custom Kydex revolver holsters, but the JMCK AIWB holster for my M&P is probably the best AIWB holster that I have.
