Default 357 needs repair

Looking for a gunsmith in SC. The only good (best) one in my area is busy with manufacturing suppressors that he is not taking any repair business at this time. I am near Columbia, SC. Any help would be appreciated. This is a magnum, i think a model 19. It was given to me and was stored in a cloth with what looks like some type of oil. The nickel plate is messed up on the barrel and there is rust and pitting on the inside of the barrel. The cylinder and the rest looks to be in good condition. Can these barrels be changed, and is it worth it?
