S&W gunsmith in NC?
I have a 25-2 .45ACP that I'd like to use in local club combat-style matches. I'd like to have the charge holes chamfered, rear sight blade changed to a Weigand, fiber optic front sight and a trigger job. Can anyone recommend a North Carolina gunsmith you'd trust with this work? I'm near Fayetteville and I'd like someone within driving distance but I'd consider anywhere.

NC is not blessed with it's share of top end GS's, at least as far as I know. The one I'd recommend is in North Wilkesboro, which is a little bit of a haul for you. Leonard Baity, he was named one of American Handgunners top 100. Everyone says two things about, his work is phenomenal and don't be in a hurry to get it back. He's done and does several National Semi and Cowboy Pistol Champions guns for them, but if you want it in a month, look elsewhere.

We are up in Asheville. We can do that work for you. I shoot a 625 in USPSA matches and have worked on them for years.
