Thanks for the info, however I was referring to the M&P 10 (AR10), not the K Frame handgun. If you do run into the AR10 parts & schematic I'd surely appreciate a link...

Upper or lower? Any reason why any of the multitude of Mil Spec schematics aren't adequate? Just trying to be helpful.

Just attempting to identify which parts are proprietary design and spec. And which are interchangeable from DPMS, SR25 etc. spec.
Those of us who are mod. maniacs wanna know if we can throw in a BCG from vendor X, Match Barrel from vendor Y and Trigger from ... You get the point...

I wish S&W had come up with new names for their newer products, instead of using the "M&P" "Bodyguard" etc names of their old-time models. I also assumed a 38 M&P / model 10 revolver when I read the thread title.
