I have a 659 that I would like to put a muzzle brake on. where can I get a threaded barrel for this firearm?

I'm not aware of any past or current production aftermarket barrels for any of the older S&W semi-auto pistol models that could be configured with a compensator or brake......all of these guns have been out of production for quite some time.
In case I'm wrong, (I frequently am) you might try placing an ad in the "Want to Buy" section on this forum.
I've never tried such a conversion on a 2nd/3rd Generation S&W, although I have built several 1911's with cone style comps....... perhaps you could have a gunsmith fit a compensator with an intregal cone to the OEM barrel? This would eliminate the front barrel bushing, as the front lock up would be the interface between the cone and the slide itself.
