K-22 and Taurus 96 grips

I acquired a clean Taurus 96 revolver and would like to change the grips to the set i found for sale that fit the K-22. The two revolvers are said to be the same. Are Taurus 96 and K-22 grips and frame profile the same.

I have a Taurus 761 in 32 mag, which I believe s the same frame as your 96. I tried a S&W K frame grip and the contour of the grip frames are different.

I have 2 Pachmyar Gripper grips and a wood set from Ebay. I prefer the wood grips. If you are interested in a set of the Grippers, you can have a set.
