    No (Safe) Guns

If I need money because of huge medical bills or something like that, then I can see thinning. But if I sell off anything, then it's losing my "collection". Obscure ammo? No such thing. I have ammo for everything I own, plus the components to make more. Plus, .223 is the ONLY firearm that I...

    Stocking up on Ammo.

Rhetorical questions no doubt! It's not about helping anyone; it's about ensuring the maintenance of power. If you take away the ammo, the guns are useless. NY is too beautiful a place to move away from. A short distance to PA is an enjoyable Sunday afternoon drive in the country. Lots of...

    RANT--USPS--UNBELIEVABLE ENCOUNTER X 3

When I owned my own business I routinely worked 80 hours over a 7 day period. I knew other business owners that did the same. If you want to be successful, that's what it takes. When my customer base dried up during the 2008 recession, I went back to my roots and got a position in a factory...

    1923

How did y'all get the 1923 season 2 DVD? It is not scheduled to be released until August. If you DO have it, you probably got a chinese bootleg copy. I fell for that when I bought the very last Yellowstone DVD. The DVD would not play on my machine without skipping and locking up. The vendor...

    Revolver Display board project

Nice idea. I built mine about 40 years ago. (Pardon me, It was for my Rugers...) I only had a few at the time and over the years I had to improvise where to add more. I added a glass door. (pardon the picture quality I could not get rid of the reflection off the glass. It IS lighted. I...

    TROUBLE WITH LATEST WINDOWS UPDATE?

Very often I get a popup that encourages me to go to W11. But it always requires me to click on something. It does not do it by itself. At least that's how mine works. I admit that a few times I almost fell for it. They keep changing the positions of the "OK" button and the "No thanks" button.

    Sandwich Experimenting

To each his own. I know people that love baked beans, and others that love Brussel sprouts. If I ate either of them even the beer would not stop me from upchucking.

    TROUBLE WITH LATEST WINDOWS UPDATE?

I had a laptop for my business when I travelled that ran Windows XP. I was afraid to do the update because of past issues with stupid upgrades. My Home computer is on W10 and I refuse to upgrade to 11. It works OK, and I don't want to F it up now. I don't care if I get error messages about...

I assume so. The property is fenced and guarded.

We had a small co-gen plant in our town. It supplied steam to local greenhouses that operated year round, and the electric was sold to the grid. The greenhouses shut down and the co-gen plant was sold. The new owners are now using it for crypto mining. There are huge arrays of computers on...

    Ethical Question

I posted to express my views based on 60 years of adult life experience. I did so respectfully. I had no intention to argue with anyone. If your opinion is different than mine, so be it. Not my concern. If further discussion would violate forum rules, then I think that would not be my...

Bitcoin maybe a gamble, or it may be the way to a fantastic future. OTOH, real estate has been and will continue to be profitable. Bitcoin may stay, or it may come and go. But, part of the earth will stand the test of time, because they ain't making any more of it.

    Ethical Question

Other names for psycho are nutcase, deranged, kookoo, crazy person, et al. Regardless, they have mental problems that largely are directed at there here and now, or they see things that have no logical reason. OTOH, psychics SEE things that others do not. Also, under normal day- to-day...

    Ethical Question

I have a bayonet collection and had several in my car that I had just purchased. A friend, who claims to be a psychic, saw them and wanted to look. She became very upset with one of them and she said to get it out of her sight. Her words were evil and death. THAT blade had obvious signs of...

    Ethical Question

I personally support your statement 1000%. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to live up to that ideal. Examples: If I'm in a store and want top buy an item, I will search for one NOT made in China. But sometimes, it's a part I need, so I have no choice. Recently, I saw an ad for some...

    Airtight old cars

My 1980 Pontiac Coupe (I still own it) needs a window cracked in order to close a door. Back in the day I don't remember how the windows worked in my 1968 VW Beetle. What I DO remember is the last time I had to change a flat, when I put the factory jack on it the running board and fenders...

    Non-Ethanol Gasoline

I use E10 in EVERYTHING. That includes mowers, cars and even a 45 year old classic car and a 63 year old boat. We were getting E10 for a couple of years before we even knew about it. Then they put the stickers on the pumps. E0 gives higher mileage, but the cost increase wipes out any...
