Been following Gun Broker on model 15's, that condition's $650 or better. Gun shops same thing, old worn police beaters are $450 now. This gun is in very nice shape.

Barrel damage Model 53's and Model 19's particularly need to be inspected where the bullet enters the barrel. On the M-53 the extreme blast eats that area of the barrel then condition is obviously dished out and damaged. Critical to the guns value but last thing owners/ sellers/ collectors want...

That condition sometimes has to do with over honing doing a trigger job, lots of triggers on Ebay. Pretty easy after a while of tracking what sells on Gun Broker for how much. How their sold a factor too, a starting price no reserve verses a poke and hope auction.

If,, in the end gun comes back, no replacement offered, can be broke down and every part (except the frame) sold on Ebay.

I bought some like new revolvers I shoot. If very careful how you protect them for transport in a soft lined case, and even more care handling and cleaning them be surprised how many fun visits to the range and still look pristine.
