    Dang I hate yard sales

They don't come along to often, the last time I asked at a sale about guns I come home with a 17-4 and 48-4 both with 83/8" barrels in great shape for a total of $750.00. They weren't out at the sale but I always ask. Just the luck of the draw I guess.

    Dang I hate yard sales

Yesterday I posted about this 34-1 and went back and bought it with the Brauer Bros H22 Leather Holster. Couldn't talk it down in price so paid the $475.00 and when he gets time will look and see if the box and papers are buried in the house somewhere. Here is a better picture, Hasn't shot much...

    .40 S&W Hate?

I have the S&W M&P 40 CORE 5.25", and it is a joy to shoot, don't even notice any recoil, never had a problem with it. I roll my own and shoot a lot of steel plates. I've had Glocks, Sig's and a Kimber and I prefer the S&W, but then this is just my 2 cents and there is a lot of change out there.

M&P CORE and Vortex Razor red dot

After doing some in depth checking on the Vortex red dot and S&W core. One has to take the red dot and mill a notch on the rear base of the optic slightly to get it to fit, most people do this their selves or have a smith do it for you. It will not void the warranty of the vortex according to vortex

    My new 9

Recieved my new S&W 9 CORE in today and headed to the range. Took my camera along to record the results and I'am pleased with the way it shoots. Shot a total of about 50 rounds and didn't have any issues with it. My CORE 40 and 9 Shield shot the same way out of the box. Here is my short video...

    Picked up a 9 shield

So far I like it. Took it to the range, loaded one mag with 115 gr HP. There are 6 steel plates at 25 ft 8 inch in size. 1St 6 shots laid the plates down, aimed for center of plates. Shot a box of 50, no FTF or FTE. I did record this on my cell phone but don't know how to down load it here. I...

    Picked up a 9 shield

Been reading all the posts about the good and the bad with the shield and had been looking at a 9 for about a month. I liked the feel and look and wanted to try one for myself. Well today I found them at Snappys for $369.99 out the door and decieded to give it a go. I normally carry a Glock...

    model 15-3

Well I went back this morning and it was still there, and now it is here. :) Cleaned up prety good and the grips are numbered to the gun. Guess I will try and sell the leather as I don't need it. Some muzzle wear and also on the cylinder and the rest is nice. enjoy Allen

    model 15-3

Went back and looked at it again. It comes with the black duty holster and belt (to small for me). The wood is not the greatest and should be replaced in my opinion. They are asking $349.00 for gun and leather. I offered 300.00 but no go, so will sleep on it tonight and look again tomorrow. Do I...

    model 15-3

Found a Model 15-3 4" at the GS today and from the SN it looks to be a 1970 model. Has some blueing loss at the muzzle and more so on the cylinder but looks to be around 85% maybe more. Barrel is pinned but cylinder is not recessed. Looks to be the standard K frame grips. Any Idea as to what the...

    S&W 28-2

A good shooter for an older service revolver this 28-2 was a DPS gun and is stamped as such on the left side below cylinder. Pinned and Recessed. Standard trigger and hammer. It has the pachmayer grips on it. Typical blueing loss and wear from service use. Shoots great. The SN shows it was born...

    S&W 29-2

A near perfect S&W Model 29-2 4" born in 1980. TT, TH, RRFS, WORS. Pinned and recessed. I can't really tell but there might be a slight hint of blue loss on left front of muzzle, hard to tell other than that slight turn line on cylinder. No box or papers. $825.00 Shipped from my FFL to your FFL
