Well, I've always preferred fixed sights on my carry guns. I was giving some thought to trading it for one of my all time favorite duty weapons I was issued by one of my former agencies - a Model 13-3 3" Heavy Barrel. I was even considering a local offer for a Model 65 3". But the more I've...
I posted a few weeks ago that I had picked this up at a local gun show. I just picked up some American Legend grips from another forum member and decided to try them out on the Model 19. Pardon the iPhone pics, but I was too lazy to drag out the camera.
My home state and current state of residence do not require any training or demonstration of proficiency for a standard permit. An "enhanced permit" is offered that allows the holder to carry in some places that a standard permit does not and and it requires an 8-hour class by a state certified...
Nicely stated and thanks for putting the OP's question into perspective.
It seems pretty clear, based on his earlier post, that for Bengal07, "adult supervision" equals "government supervision".

Sorry, guys, I meant to type 65 and just had 15 in my head for some reason. My question actually referred to the Model 65 vs the Model 13.
Thanks,
Gonzo
The best I can tell, with some minor differences, the Model 65 is the stainless equivalent of the Model 13. Is the Model 65 in the 3" configuration more common than the Model 13 in the 3" configuration? Specifically with the heavy barrel?
Thanks,
Gonzo

Don't give up. I found one at a local gunshow a few weeks ago. No box or papers, but the finish is near pristine and it appears to have been shot very little. I paid $500 for it.

I recently purchased this beautiful TT Gunleather DDP Pancake Holster (Right Hand; Black/Black; 1.5" loops) from another forum member. It is artfully made (as all of Tim's holsters are) and the quality is top notch. It is cut for...
