The mighty 380 ACP. Need data!

I recall there was a seemingly crazy guy on one of the web boards doing exactly that sort of thing. He mentioned his loads and they were all way over the top... I think he was trying to see how much would make a gun blow... never did hear what happened to him. Because of the small carry size...

WTS-38/44 Heavy Duty- revised pricing 11/28

Smith & Wesson 5" 38/44 Heavy Duty. For Sale- No Trades I find it difficult to part with this gun and have gone back and forth over the past 4 years as whether to sell it or keep it... Today I'm leaning toward selling... We all know how scarce they are and what beat-up shooters are going ...

    Firefox update

The new NoScript is a fresh look and I think I like it so far. Gotts find out what all the checkbox options mean under custom. One thing I would like to see is when something hangs, it reports which script is the culprit. Right now I also have noscript,ghostery,whitelist-javascript, decentralize...

    Firefox update

My main complaint with 57 is that No-Script and TabMix Plus don't work anymore. I am using other substitutes for No-Script (not as good IMO) but can't find anything like TabMix offered.

    S & W Swat knife

Not suggesting you do anything illegal, just pointing out... I have a S&W 4000 (legal auto in AZ) that also opens manually if you don't press the logo button. There is a Benchmade that opens manually unless you pivot one of the scales then it is an auto. I've been carrying autos since about...

My Dad’s old S&W belt buckle

I have one that looks exactly like that except on the back it says C (copyright symbol) "1979 Smith & Wesson" then "S&W Logo" below that.

    38 M&P - Talk About a Bold Marketing Statement...

    2) Have there been "larger selling" non-quality revolvers? If so, what are they? I don't know any sales figures but I'll bet S&W is referring to the large number of Spanish knock-offs that were common back then... thus the "Markas Registradas" rollmark.

Hard to find Smiths, in shooter grade...

I had one of these in about 98% but the trigger was also 98% stiff, so I sold it and kept this one- trigger is like warm butter.... with SN 572xxx estimate it's about 1928, even has a grip notch.

Unfired in Box 629-2, 4” Mt.Lion ’12 Revolvers series’ # 477 of 500 I am going to sell off a few more of my collection mainly due to age and medical bills becoming more frequent than having-fun bills. Offerings may change over time as things get added and sold off. The first offering is... a...

4.0 and 4.3 of W231 behind 158gr plated. What other mix would you do?

I would look at the powder OEM data for each of your powders and then load 10 of each with a mid-range load to see how they compare with each other. When determining OAL, you need to consider the max OAL (so you don't go too long) and the length of the driving band and how much of that is in...

    Plano Plastic Ammo Cans Caution

I won't buy plastic cans period. A few years ago 30 cal cans were typically $3-4 and 50 cal were $5-8. I don't know how or exactly when but it seems during the shortage & gouging of 2010 prices skyrocketed. Now they want 15-20 for a 50 cal can. Every now and then I see one at the flea market...

    PAASST Reloading Gurus in here.

My understanding is that the CCI-450 Magnum primer and the 41 Military primer are essentially the same... same mixture, same cup thickness, slightly different anvil - so I use 450's instead of paying $5-$10 more... yeah, that's what us paasst gurus are around for....

    Need help with age/time identification

I think I'll concur with DeWalt on the ammo box... they often used a similar box for a long period of time, only changing small details and/ the name/address of the company. I believe Western did use a similar color and design from pre-war into the 50's with variation. according to THE CARTRIDGE...

    PAASST Reloading Gurus in here.

I often use regular Small Rifle primers in pistol loads, saves on having to stock both but if you have a light spring trigger it may not set them off and you may have to use SP instead. However you shouldn't mix LP & LR primers.. although they are the same diameter they are different heights...

    WST AND WSF?

I use both and in most of my calibers I prefer WST but in a couple loads WSF is more accurate.
