Smith and Wesson Model 29 Nickel Plated

Not shown is the wooden presentation case. The tab that covers the cleaning rod and other accessories was never even removed. Underneath is the bill of sale (1976), and warranty information card with serial number and place of purchase. My relative must have purchased it from the original buyer...

Smith and Wesson Model 29 Nickel Plated

Recently had a unfortunate death in the family (what death isn`t unfortunate) and he has quite the lot of very nice firearms. Most are being sold but some, like this, are being kept in the family. Its a 29-2 Nickel Plate purchased in 79. I have the original box and all documentation including...

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

This might be heresy, but this is my first Smith and Wesson revolver and only the second revolver I have. Things will be changed :) Now if anyone would like to donate a Model 29 to my donation basket :eek::p

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

Technically it was a combination of work from my brother and I. Took alot of elbow grease to get that nasty polyurethane off those things. The actual tru oil application was the easy part. Thanks for the kind words everyone! :o These N frames are really growing on me. I need a Model 29 now! :)

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

The one I picked up was a 77-78 production. I did see a few that were produced before 62 but were much more. Ill keep an eye out for some nice pre 62 (I guess pre 62 now) Smiths.

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

I need a K-frame too. I am more of a C&R collector guy but I am really drawn to Smith and Wesson revolvers.

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

This is actually the first N frame revolver I have ever purchased. I was very surpised how comfortable the revolver is in the hand. Sweetie Pie!:D

Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

Picked this up for 510 out the door. The grips had nasty polyurethane that had really bad runs. They were refinished the next day! The rear sight blade has a dent on the right corner but other than that the revolver is perfect. Locks up real tight and timing is perfect. I might change the blade...
