Smith and Wesson Model 28 Pickup

Picked this up for 510 out the door. The grips had nasty polyurethane that had really bad runs. They were refinished the next day!

The rear sight blade has a dent on the right corner but other than that the revolver is perfect. Locks up real tight and timing is perfect. I might change the blade out latter down the road, but it is sighted right on.

This is actually the first N frame revolver I have ever purchased. I was very surpised how comfortable the revolver is in the hand. Sweetie Pie!

I need a K-frame too. I am more of a C&R collector guy but I am really drawn to Smith and Wesson revolvers.

Most all the five screws are C&R now. There are a lot of them out there in good shape.

The one I picked up was a 77-78 production. I did see a few that were produced before 62 but were much more. Ill keep an eye out for some nice pre 62 (I guess pre 62 now) Smiths.

I picked up a 28 today too. They are one sweet gun and they are addictive. Yours is in better shape than mine as my bluing is not as nice. Congrats on a great acquisition!

You did great on that one. I would have bought that in a heart beat. I have a nice 6 inch 28 and would love to find a nice 4 incher to go with it. Enjoy that one. I am jealous.
