    first k22 paid to much?

This is the type of knowledge us new collector's seek! "Acquisition insurance" is so much more palatable than "overpaid." I have frequently "bought" acquisition insurance but didn't know the correct terminology at the time....I just knew it was worth the premium I paid. Thanks DCWilson for...

Look what the high water has flushed out

Ever see the show on History Channel called "Swamp People?" The guy who hunts snakes at night...Willy I think. It was on last night. He looks kinda like Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He regularly rolls up on submerged snakes and just grabs them. Says he can't always tell the water...

picked this up wednesday, nice gun

That's a good deal on a great package. In my experience CZ handguns are impressively accurate.

Anyone have a Big Green Egg?

Agree! I have one and love it. Christmas gift from my in-laws. I cook on it at least twice a week...not an exagerration...at least twice. We had kabobs last night as a matter of fact. It's extremely easy to get the charcoal going and extremely easy to regulate the temperature. It's like...

Stags on this K38 Heavy Masterpiece

Thanks for the compliments. This gun appears to be have been fired before it came to me so I don't think I would be treading on sacred ground if I put a round or two down the pipe. In fact, I think it wants to be shot. :) Kurt, amazing picture per usual! I look forward to seeing that trio...

Stags on this K38 Heavy Masterpiece

Just a nice example of the S&W K frame with neat old stag grips. I'm proud of it and thought I'd share a couple of pics. The box is very clean considering the age but does not number to the gun. Any grease pencil markings on the box have been lost. I have not shot this one...but...

PRE 29 Score, then the bubble bursts-price check requested

I would have bought that gun at that price given the chance....knowing all the details. And I think the notches are kinda cool but I'm weird like that.

    3-Guns, 3-Weeks, 3-Five-Sevens (357's)

You know I think for some of us 5" N frames are like a cult within a cult. Maybe when you post pics of yours (obligatory after this thread) you can start a new thread dedicated to the glory that is the 5" N frame...bet that would draw out some really good pics.

What Do You Think of This Tyler-T Grip Craze?

I think prices will come back down. There were just too many manufactured and sold for $20 or so to be that collectible, rare, sought after...etc. Just my two cents. I have several and use them on some guns but wouldn't pay today's classified prices to replace one if lost.

    New Gun Owner!

Welcome aboard. That's not much info to go on but it sounds like you have a .38 Special Hand Ejector M&P (Military and Police) that dates to around 1942 give or take a year. If you are really interested in learning more about the gun I suggest you spend a little time browsing the forums and...
