    still loving my model 41

Model 41 How can anyone not enjoy shooting a 41, Every time I shoot mine, I get this stupid grin on my face that takes a long time to go away. I didn't know M41's were made as early as 1962. I thought production didn't begin until 1957.

    Centennial

Been carrying one for those off and on for several decades. Absolutely love them. Pretty good shooters too. Gets a bunch of looks when I take it to the range.......hey what's that thing sticking out of the backstrap, those grips don't look like they fit too good, etc.

LGS Refused to Remove Stocks (grips)?

The customer's request is not unreasonable, and if the shop refused, I would politely hand the gun back to the clerk, thank them for their time and leave. Sometimes LGS's are reluctant to do such things for anyone other than regular customers they know. Other times, some will not do it under...

    Officer's Model vs Pre-Model 17

I've got a 17-3, and a bunch of K22's from 1932 to the mid 50's. In comparison to my Colt.22 cal OMT's from 1933 AND 1940 The Colt's can't hold a candle to the S&W. For some reason I just can't shoot the Colts nearly as accurate as I can the S&W's. The Colt's just don't feel "right".

    Hi Standard HD Military Pistol

Was in a LGS several weeks ago, saw this in the display case and just had to have it. 6 1/2" barrel, mfg in 1945, one original magazine, no box or docs. Probably about 85% condition. Beautiful bore, everything works as it should. No other bluing loss other than on sides of barrel. I know...

    40 Centennial 4 screw

I've got both a Centennial and a Model 40. The 40 works its way into my EDC rotation ever once in a while. Sure is a lot of fun to shoot.

    K22 Outdoorsman 1st Series

K22 outdoorsman I misstated the serial number. It is actually in the 638XXX series. Had to go back and see if I gave Roy the correct serial number, I did. Sorry for the confusion.

    K22 Outdoorsman 1st Series

A somewhat recently addition to the family is this beautiful K22 OD. It left the factory 9-1931. All numbers matching, including the grips. Just a very slight turn line. Kind of hard to photograph such a highly polished blue. Just a tiny bit of bluing loss on both sides of the muzzle...

    S&W Special CTG

38 spl Ctg. This is a 38M&P that left he factory in June of 1921. No address, Factory nickel finish. Not sure if grips are original or not. They look a bit too good to be original. No markings, of any kind, on right grip panel. Right side of barrel is marked "38 S&W special ctg." I've...
