Have you tried the 9c 1.0 with the 15 round magazine in it that comes with the 2.0? If you can find a 1.0 version they cost a lost less and with the 15 round magazine the grip is the same length as the 2.0.

I carry my MP9C with a apex trigger and sear, Talon grip tape, Trijicon night sights and 15 round magazines from the M&P 9c 2.0 with my own magazine spacers.

I believe the original spring will reduce the trigger pull by about 2. Contact Apex customer service and ask them to be sure.

Don't buy a 2.0 just for the 15 round magazines. The 15 round mags fit in the 1.0 version, you just need a spacer to fill the gap between the new mag and the old grip. Then you have 15 rounds and the grip is exactly the same length as a Shield with the 8 round magazine. People seem to think...

I like the 17 round magazine for the range but the 15 round magazine makes it easier to concealed carry.

You can use the 15 round magazines in both the 1.0 version and the 2.0 sub-compact. The 15 round magazine makes the grip the same length as the Shield and feels much better to shoot.

My Kramer pancake holster for my Shield has never collapsed in the four years I have had it. They are great holsters but pricey at $127. I was hoping to pay less and still get a good one.

Put grip tape on the side of the slide. Makes it much easier to rack when you push the slide with your left hand and have a firm grip on the grip.
