As far as I know, the only way to know if these are 'factory' would be to have the gun lettered. That will cost a little money and a little time, but would definitely add to the value if they are factory.

My pre 27 6" from November 1954 is one of my best shooting revolvers. The sight picture is better than the later guns. It started my fascination with the 'pre model' guns. You will love it.
