Definitely funny for sure and fitting to slap the Glocks around a wee bit as well. Don't like them myself at all.

Every time I see one of those, I think it's the last funny one I'll see. I'm always wrong. The possibilities are endless.

I loved the part where he said something about "why can't someone make a 1911 work right of the box?".

I have a nice Springfield loaded target, it didn't work right out of the box either. Went back in to be fixed. Works great though now.

1911st are cool but they are way over rated.

If I could only have one pistol and it had to be a new, out of the box gun with no tweaks it would be a Sig Sauer P226. Sorry S&W and 1911.

My S&W 1911 worked right out of the box. Had a few minor character flaws, but nothing that has hindered performance or accuracy.

Sig would be my second choice. Much better choices overall would be a S&W 4014, 4013, 4513, or Shorty 40/45.

Any of these are better, more modern guns than a 1911 (although that's still one of my favorites after the 3rd gens and Sigs). And Glocks would be my last choice.

Much better polymer choices are the FNP/FNX's, HK's, and Walther PPS (in .40 S&W)

That was great !!!

I've got a Springfield USGI model 1911 cause I wanted one that looked like the WWII model without spending a fortune. I'm very happy with it.

Also have a Glock and like it just as much.

I've got 29 pistols right now and enjoy every one for different reasons.

Remember that saying, variety is the spice of life. :)
