Leatherhead, I recently acquired this gun. It had been in a dresser drawer with a couple other Smiths and a Colt for the past 35 years or so after the husband died. A nice find. I have yet to shoot it though. Tom

No bend in ejector rod. On the yoke, should the ends be evenly bare steel or should there be streaks of black?

It will not spin freely on the "yoke" when open. I will try cleaning again. I did not check the extractor rod before for run out. Thanks Tom
