That's a neat old veteran. Shoot it and enjoy it. TL's are great guns.I only own one TL, spent lots having it renickeled, etc, and while it looks better, it doesn't shoot any better.

Congratulations on obtaining a fine revolver. This gun was named after San Francisco dealer Philip Bekeart who originally contracted S&W to manufacture this revolver. My S&W reference book lists your gun as possibly falling into the "First Bekeart-pattern production run", serial numbers 138226...

I only own one, 1914. The nickel finish was in bad shape, so I had it redone by Ford's. Notice the perfect balance. LOL
