Retired Cop Gun Finds New Job

Kudos on finding such a nice specimen. I'm seriously looking into getting a .45 for my next hg. The 4566 seems to be a logical choice considering how much I like my 5906 already. I am begining to feel the 3rd gen addiction start to take over.

    5906, 6906 from CDNN

Things worked out so that I actually got to go to the range today. Put approx. 100 rounds through the 6906 and 150 through the 5906. They easily digested all rounds(stanky S&B and Fed cheapies) without any issues. The 6906 does shoot a little low as many have reported but not so much that it is...

    6906 from CDNN

I received mine yesterday and am very satisfied with the "Very Good" rating that they use. I hope that your experience is comparable.

When Smith and Colt were making great revolvers . . .

I'm sure that they both shoot as great as they look. Perfect examples of, "They just don't make 'em like they used to".

    Hey ya'll from KY

Very glad to have found this site. After reading so much positive feedback on 3rd gen S&W semis, I decided to drink the kool-aid and just ordered a 6906 and a 5906 from CDNN. The way I figure, I can carry the 6906 once I get my permit while the 5906 should be a workhorse when I hit the range. I...
