    Concealable Revolver for Black Bears?

I was just going to post that very same question. Here in NC, bears are not eligible for a concealed carry permit.

    Model 14 info?

About six months ago, I picked up a very nice -6 with the .500 target hammer and the .312 smooth trigger. It wouldn't fit your needs as someone had done a homebrew trigger and chamfer job on it - not too shabby, but not high grade either - which worked out fine for me as I'm going to try it as...

Uncle Mikes grips for an N-frame?

I like the pack presentations (the grippers tend to not fill my hand), but the grip screw is in exactly the wrong place on the current model for tuned mainsprings - the old ones work fine. But - nothing works as well with a speedloader as the Uncle Mikes, nor does anything fit my hand as well...

Uncle Mikes grips for an N-frame?

Dang! Thanks - I was afraid that was the case.

Uncle Mikes grips for an N-frame?

Did Uncle Mike's ever make their rubber grips for a square butt N-frame? I'm a' needing me a pair for an old model 28.

    Model 67 heavy barrel?

Wow! That is one sweet 67. It looks like the front sight blade is pinned - you could swap out the blade for an SDM fiber optic if you were so inclined. I had no idea they made those. How's it shoot?

    Model 67 heavy barrel?

I’d really like to get a look at one of the new 67s with the one piece heavy barrel. It’s my understanding that Smith now uses the .357 length cylinder on these guns and I’m wondering if that means they are using the late model 66 (-5 and 6) frames for them. If so, you’d essentially have a late...

    Tumblers

I had good service from my Midway tumbler - Frankfort Arsenal brand. The motor burned up after six years of continuous service and Midway replaced at their expense, even though it only had a one year warrenty.

    Weird DA problem with 28-2

I had the exact same problem with a 28-2. I replaced the cylinder stop - although eyeballing it showed no obvious problems, but I had a spare and they're cheap - and the problem went away never to return.

    WTB Uncle Mikes Grips

Thanks BB, but the Uncle Mikes work best for me.

    WTB Uncle Mikes Grips

OK - I found a pair of RBs , does anyone have the K/L frame square butt version (59005) they'd like to sell?

    WTB Uncle Mikes Grips

Howdy, I'd like to buy some of the full size Uncle Mikes Grips with finger grooves, either the K/L frame square butt version (59005) or the round butt version (59012). Serviceable condition is fine - they be's for shootin' not lookin' at. Thanks

    Removing M&P front sight

You really need to whack the M&P front sight- it's TIGHT. I had to use a steel punch and a framing hammer - my brass punch bent after a few blows. As perviously stated, secure the slide in a vise and drive the sight from left to right as seen from the back of the slide.

light tube front site for 5906?

5906 Fan, I haven't checked a 5906, but I was able to use a HiViz FO front for an M&P on a 4586. The dovetail was the same size and the height - .160 I think - worked perfectly. Speed Shooter Speciality used to have blanks you could customize to fit your particular gun - might be worth a call to...

Best powder for 9MM cast bullets.

If you're running all weights, I'd suggest Solo 1000 - cheap, low SD, accurate, available, clean and meters well - as a bonus, it fills the case so a double charge will be spilling out of the case and easy to detect. If you don't run heavy weights, like 147s, try Clays - it has the same...

    Chronograph selection

My PACT Model 1 is a dog - as a matter of fact it's back there now to see if they can get it working. I'm also not too happy about having to pay shipping both ways on a gizmo with a lifetime guarantee - they required $14.95 for the return shipping, not actual costs. Although this is only a...

    Miss November, 1956 Happy Birthday.

I too was "shipped" from the factory in November 1956. I have to admit that Miss Novemebr has retained her looks a lot better than I have

    Hammer needed for 64-5

This can be very helpful... If you're unsure about swapping out the hammer after reading the FAQ, pick up a DVD of Jerry Miculek's S&W revolver action job. He goes through complete disassembly and reassembly of a S%W revolver; additionally, he discusses how the parts interact as the action...
