I just put my hands on a Lawrence holster from (what I believe is) the 1930's. It is a field holster with 25 over 32 over 4. I'm thinking its for a 4" .32 Cal revolver. But for all I know, its for a semi-auto. Any guidance would be appreciated. Now I need to continue cleaning it up.

I've mostly been using a Browning BAR in 30-06 with a Leupold scope since the mid-90's. It's great for anything under 600-700lbs. Nice accuracy and easy follow up shots with the semi-auto. I also use my Dad's pre-64 Winchester 70 in 30-06, but I usually only take it out once a year.

^^^ Good advice there. ATF & Kerosene is good, and I usually do the same thing (but I soak the gun in Kroil). Just make sure that you go easy with the wool, and ONLY use bronze wool. Good luck.

Model 15 would also have to have adjustable sights.

That looks to be a great gun with a nice family history. I have one that shows much more "character" (but is all original). I taught my son how to shoot with it. The SN is 659548 and it shipped from the factory in Dec 1936.
