    Screaming Eagles "trilogy?''

It has been a few years, but I have read all four of the books you have mentioned. Amazon is listing used copies of The Filthy Thirteen for as cheap as $1.98 plus a little shipping.

    Tough choice.

9MM Commanders (especially of the pre-80 Series variety) are much harder to find in my local area than 70 Series or earlier Colt Gold Cups and they are nice shooters. Which will your daughter shoot better when you pass them down?

Jesse Dayton: Outlaw Country & Sweet Americana

Pretty sure I saw Jesse in '99 or so with his band (at the time) called the Road Kings as an opening act for another band and then again solo years later, also as the opening act for somebody else.

Removing Colt medallions from S&W stocks....

I know I started this project over three years ago, but I'm almost done. One set of pre-war brass medallion stocks that were too nice to break up, one pair of misidentified stocks that were the wrong size medallions and one pair of pre-war Magnas that are out being restored later, I finally...

Before I break up these stocks....

I have emails out to DWFan as well as Keith Brown already. My quick search turned up more refinishers than it did restorers so I'm open to more recommendations.

Before I break up these stocks....

Indeed they are, and they were hard to find. No idea what they are worth in this shape. I've thought about restoration as well but I don't know where I'd be cost/benefit wise. I've got a couple of emails to send in that regard.

Before I break up these stocks....

I've had WTB adds on three different forums (including this one) off and on for months and this is the first set I've come up with thus far and they didn't come from here surprisingly. Seems like either I'm not that lucky, they aren't out there or people are holding onto them.

Before I break up these stocks....

Are these anything special or were they removed from anything special? The S/N appears to be 52179 but I won't swear the first digit is accurate as it is really hard to read. These are beat up, chipped and I think the right stock may have been re-checkered. I need a set of 1/2" medallions...

Sight options (factory or not) for Pre-17?

Yes, there was a barrel rib. I do not believe it is an Outdoorsman, as a buddy has one the difference between the two is noticeable. ETA: I just saw the revolver if question. Front sight had no name on it and was loose. Rear sight was entirely homemade and while it may have had two screws, I'm...

Sight options (factory or not) for Pre-17?

I was shown a picture of a K-22 last night that potentially has had the sights replaced. I don't have a S/N, but the revolver in question is represented to be circa 1948. The single picture I saw (left side) was not ideal but I believe the front sight currently fitted is a Lyman, Redfield, King...
