I agree, people are looking for a way to knock on the Shield. I personally love my Shield .40 it rides shotgun w me every time i leave the house. Its a great gun, along w the rest of my M&P's.

Yeah they make lasers for the shield but they would go on the front of the gun. This would not all me to use my holster.

Im looking to have my Shield's slide coated in ceramic. Im getting it as close to S&W's "Flat Dark Earth" (Vtac M&Ps) Does anybody have any feed back or comments about ceramic coating. Is it really as durable as the website says it it? Thanks

The Shield's sights are suppose to be universal to the rest of the M&P sights. I ordered XS sights for the M&P FS and they fit on my Shield. Im still hoping CT will develope a laser that will fit on the grip of the Shield so i can still use my holster. I wont hold my breath

I did a custom trigger job on my Shield. I ground down the trigger bar ramp on the sear. I need a stock sear to keep incase i have to return it for warrentee purposes. Does anybody know where to get one?? The only way i found one, is included in a sear block and all websites are backordered...

If you go on Brownells.com they sell replacement trigger block w a mag safey, you can swap one w the saftey into your gun very easily. Bc i did the exact opposite and removed the safty bc the guy at the lgs ordered the wrong gun for me
