Equal parts of Mineral spirits, Kerosene, and Dexron transmission fluid works for me. I do have a jar with Acetone added for special occasions, an Ed's Red mixture.:D

There is one very similar to yours on a poplar auction site with several days left. I'm watching out of curiosity.

While digging thru my grip stash I found this set for a K frame that were stamped Smith & Wesson Handgun Grip Co. I have a few sets with the stamp but was wondering when S&W started making them and for how long?

Thanks Jimmy. I'm pretty sure it was within the past 6 or 7 months. It was a black LH and it was stamped Colt 1 on the back, also it had a hammer guard the little piece of leather that rolls over the hammer. The poster stated that a 3" J frame fit it just fine. My partimers is starting to bug me.:D

Several months ago someone listed a few holsters for sale. One of the holsters was for a Colt #1 LH that fit a 3" J frame, according to his add. I would like to get in contact with the member who posted the add. I don't think it sold. Thanks in advance.:)
