I LOVE my M&P22. makes for a killer squirrel gun too on the property.

My EDC is a FS9 with no thumb safety. I prefer it that way. Gross motor skills. I have done some training with my 1911, however, i prefer K.I.S.S. when it comes to my carry weapon.

The reset on my FS9 with my RAM feels nearly identical to my M&P22. Take up is also very comparable. I'm very happy with how close these two weapons are. I also carry my FS9 with a medium backstrap. I've tried all three, and keep coming back to the medium. According to measurements, the 22...

Have you considered pocket carry for such a small frame auto? I carry in a full size M&P9 in my crossbreed and am gifted in the gut department. I couldn't be happier with the holster. I am considering a Shield for a backup carry, and it'll be a pocket or ankle carry.

I have the same 'pair'. i love my 9 FS, but man the 22 is so much cheaper to practice draw / site acquisition / first shot.

Amen. I ran a handful of rounds thru mine last Friday. 7 magazines worth total. 7*12. No FTF/FTE. ran perfect. Agreed not many rounds, but oh what fun! S&W/Walther did good here.

I carry my M&P22 in my Raven and/or Crossbreed. Same fit as my M&P9

One caution of the MTAC, it doesn't look like it covers the beaver tail on the FS 9. If you have a round belly, that beaver tail will dig into your belly. I had a Galco and it was very similar in THIS aspect. I sold it and ordered a Crossbreed. No regrets.

I carry my 9FS in a crossbreed supertuck every day. It holds up well, has a great warranty, and is very comfortable. i'm 6'1" / 280#s. I wear my work shirts tucked in.

I carry my 9 in a Crossbreed everyday. The leather is harder on the finish than the kydex in my opinion.
