Here is an older S&W buckle that I have.

I've been gone this week. The buckle is laying on a notebook cover.

I carry a Glock 27 in a Galco Triton IWB holster. I'm left handed and I carry it at about the 8 O'clock position. In the hotter months I wear a t-shirt or light shirt over the gun. In the colder months I wear a sports coat or jacket over the gun. I'm 6-3 and about 205.

I have a small buckle collection. I just added a new S&W buckle to it. I bought it from the S&W store for $11.95.

I bought a Safariland Duty Gear 578. Mine is a left handed model. It retains good and adjusts to your pistol. You use your middle finger to unlatch it as you put your hand on the grip. It works great. It comes with the paddle and a belt loop back.

I received an email from Apex and they said it would be a week or so.

I ordered a semi drop-in barrel yesterday. Anyone know if they ship immediately or is there a backlog. I couldn't find any information on their website.

I have plenty of other firearms for conceal carry. I bought the C.O.R.E. for a range gun because of it's optic ready feature. By the time I get done fixing it I hope it will become my favorite competition gun.

BTW, my trigger pull went from 6 lbs 8 0z to 3 lbs 4 0z, exactly half. And the creep and take-up was eliminated.

I ordered the pistol from Buds Guns. When I received it I found that the trigger was worse than any firearm I've ever owned. I was ready to sell it at a loss if the Apex kit didn't fix the problem. That kit improved my M&P Pro C.O.R.E. 100%. After installing the kit I'm happy again...

Something like that is almost impossible to diagnose without having the firearm in your hand to examine.

I put mine in a vise and slightly tightened. I then rotated the gun. It then came out easily. Put it back together the same way.

Anyone know what the rate of twist is in the Storm Lake barrels for the M&P?

BTW, I've been hugely disappointed with my Pro C.O.R.E. trigger. I don't think the trigger pull is a bit better than the standard model. It is about 6 1/2 pounds and gritty I think. It is nothing like either of my Sig's triggers. I hope this Apex kit takes care of my dissatisfaction.

I've been reading about the install and I plan on retaining my existing trigger spring as well.
