    27-2 grips

I recently purchased a 1978 vintage 27-2. It's wearing target grips with the speed-loader cutout. My suspicion is that these are not the original grips, but I would welcome more expert opinion than my own.

Thanks to everybody who responded to my question!

    Model 28 trigger

Right, but you can't tell if they're serrated. Supica and Nahas mention a smooth .400" trigger as a factory option, but not a wide serrated trigger.

    Model 28 trigger

I recently picked up a Model 28-2 equipped with a serrated target trigger. Supica and Nahas do not mention that trigger as a factory option, but is it possible that it might be?

    M28 variations & price/values?

You're just a tad off. The four-screw has one in front of the trigger guard, not at the top of the side-plate.
