Just bought a "Steve MecQueen" style S&W marked upside down rig for my old Colt Cobra. Does anybody know who made these? Were they Bianchi 9R off-shoots? Just wondering. Thanks for any input.

Can't remember if the 642 was first or my police trade-in 66 was. I bought them around the same time. I had been more into Colts and semi-autos in general, so I was a bit late getting into the Smiths. Still have these.

Hmm, very interesting. I was at West Point about three years ago on my way to the Garand Collector's convention in Springfield and I don't recall seeing the M&P at WP either. Could have easliy missed it though...lots of neat guns on display!
