    Yep I've got this old Lyman mold that is about that weight. Loaded in the 624 they are a pretty lethal home defense and up close varmint load.

    Hi Peter, You say: "My standard load is 7 to 7.5 grns for either the 38 Super or 38/44." What weight bullet and what velocity do you get with that in the 38 Super?

    Win M-70 Classic Featherweight. 300 WSM for the big stuff & 25 WSSM for the medium stuff. Used the big 'un on a bull moose about 30 days ago, next week it's the 25's turn for Kansas white tails.

    Deer Heart recipe's

    Heart is delicious Well we always cut the heart down one side so it lays out flat and make a batch of stuffing, like for a Thanksgiving turkey. Fill a baking dish with the heart buried in the stuffing and bake for about an hour depending on size. Had some just last week, it's great.

    Here ya go..... Here's mine for a Baby Chief while the shoulder straps were being replaced. Haven't taken a pic of it with the straps attached, but I have worn it a few times since on those Saturday night suit and tie occasions. It's a fast access rig.

    The 4" guns were plain blue ramp front sight, plain blue rear. 6" guns were plain blue patridge front sight, plain blue rear. 3" guns were red ramp front sight and white outline rear.
