Those of you who have SSRs, are your charge holes chamfered? For the life of me, mine look just like the 686-6.

Hey lzhome, can you link me to the holster you got for it? My grips are a sort of brown tiger's eye color. I also tried the Uncle Mikes and they are also quality - I might keep them on simply to keep my wood stocks in serene condition. They've already got a couple nicks.

Looks like some smiths rattle, some don't, from my research online. Weird. Still fires fine.

Grrr.... The rattle is just behind or below the hammer. I don't have the appropriate parallel screwdriver to open the gun up so I can't peek inside. It seems to fire ok...
