15-22p I 've not had any issues with the pistol I bought yet so far but I have only used the CCI mini-mags. They are what I started shooting when I first purchased the rifle version.

What barrel length did you use and what can. I'd like to do the same. Nice job! I like!!!

Reasns No reason was stated but I'd assume a lack of interest or at least lack of sales.:confused:

So I got a return e-mail from the S&W guys and they confirmed tha the 15-22P has been discontiued And there will be spare parts to be bought. I'm thinkin I may have to scoop another Pistol up while their available.:)

15-22P Paulthesaffer. Which suppressor did you go with? So many out there , I'm still comparing:) I really like the G5-22 But the cost is to much.

Single point sling. :)With the pistol I found that the one point worked well as long as you adjust it to the person shooting it. My son and I shared my pistol [ he's 13 ] and it took longer to re adjust the sling than it did to empty a mag. Oh ya, and a red dot.

Folding Stock? I been looking at the folding stock option. From what I see on the internet it looks doable. If my approval ever comes back. I'm also looking at suppressors. They come in 7\8" , 1" , 1.25"x different lengths. I'm looking for something closer to 1.4" x 7. Anybody seen one?:eek:

Dicontinued? Glad I got mine then. Might have to look into getting extra springs and maybe a bolt being that they are a little different than the rifle. Spare parts you know.;)

Reliabilty ? I've only shot the CCI Mini-Mags in my pistol and only because that's what I used in the rifle version but I've had no issues with my pistol. Reliability has been 100 percent to date, about 1000 rounds or so. I'm still thinking about SBR'en this pistol.:eek:

Got it! Put the wrench on , Held the receiver by hand and gave the wrench a wack with the rubber mallet. Didn't seem very tight at all. Thanks guys.:)

Short barrel Still got to get a wrench on it and still have room to grab the barrel. You could put a barrel extention on and be able to get the barrel nut off but it won't work in reverse.:confused:

Pistola. The pistol version M&P 15-22 has a 5.5 inch barrel. The wrench I bought is 10 3\4 inches long. There is no way to hold on to the barrel while turning the wrench. The barrel protrudes 3\4 of an inch beyond the handguard. The video doen't cover the pistol.

Has anyone been through this procedure yet? I'm thinking on changing out the handguard on mine but not sure how to secure the receiver.:confused:
